Build a lead magnet and email funnel that delivers
Choose a narrow free resource, write an honest opt-in and build a five-email nurture sequence that connects to a relevant paid offer.

Solve a small problem completely
A free resource should deliver something useful on its own. A window-light menu photo checklist can help a cafe owner take a better photo today. A vague PDF about the importance of marketing makes the reader do more work without solving the problem.
Choose a problem close to your paid service. The checklist helps with one image; a professional menu shoot helps with a consistent set of images. That connection gives the reader a reason to consider the next step without holding useful advice back.
Make the exchange clear
The opt-in should name the resource and state what the form collects. A button labeled “Get the photo checklist” should deliver the checklist after the visitor completes the stated step. Explain future marketing and consent in your actual form and email setup.
Test the resource link yourself. Check it on mobile, in a private browser and without an administrator session. A broken download turns a new lead into a support problem before the relationship begins.
Give every email a different job
Email one delivers the resource. Email two helps the reader begin. Email three addresses a common mistake. Email four demonstrates what the paid service adds. Email five invites a fit question or one clear next action.
Keep the messages short and relevant. Do not invent a deadline to create urgency, and do not imply you personally observed the subscriber’s behavior. The sequence is a draft; you review and configure it in your email platform before sending.
Count qualified outcomes
Downloads show interest in the resource, not necessarily buying intent. Track qualified inquiries, meetings and customers alongside opt-in rate. Ask whether new subscribers resemble the people your service actually helps.
A smaller list of relevant buyers can be more useful than a large list attracted by an unrelated giveaway. Review why people subscribed, which questions they ask and whether the paid offer fits the problem they brought.
Put the brief to work.
